Afternoon session
Each year 'One Day in Melbourne' has different ‘mission’ speakers to help us better comprehend ‘mission media communications’.
Ben Campbell
Ben is the Director of African Enterprise Australasia. Ben travels extensively in this ministry with a heart for the lost and building relationships with Christian Leaders around the world. He is uniquely placed to address this subject of international mission communications.
Ashley Saunders
Ashley is the Director of Family Voice Australia who took over this major Australian apologetic ministry for Christian family values from the erstwhile Dr David and Rosa Phillips with their many years of service. Reverend Saunders brings with him a fresh appeal in multi media - he is addressing One Day in Melbourne on the issues relating to a “medium size ministry” in communications.
Peter Brookshaw
Captain Peter Brookshaw is the Corps Officer of the wonderful facilities at Craigieburn Salvation Army. Peter is an internationally acclaimed blogger and a writer for Christian Today. Peter is leading in small groups in this final session for 2018 One Day in Melbourne - hearing back from the groups what insights this year in order to develop 2019 One Day in Melbourne.
John Lemmon a Christian blogger
2019 planning group
Dr Mark Tronson after three years of coordinating 'One Day in Melbourne' is passing on the baton to a fresh team planning and coordinating 2019 and onwards
Peter Brookshaw - Writer - chair
David Goodwin - WarCry
John Lemmon - Christian Blogger
Bob Thomas - Editor of New Life
Others to be confirmed
Mark Tronson says 2018 is the 3rd year of One Day in Melbourne - time for fresh faces in leadership.
It all began when Rev Bob Thomas and Dr Mark Tronson met over dinner at ARPA four years ago to develop a broad evangelical ‘communications’ and ‘media’ annual spotlight.
The focus was on mission publication editors, Christian bloggers, social media maverns, writers …. and small Christian media
The philosophy is to provide a no-cost “One Day in Melbourne” with a provided venue and lunch for mission delegates. This has been graciously and wonderfully provided this year by Craigieburn Salvation Army. We look forward to what next year will bring ….. and the same venue.
There remains room for this current One Day in Melbourne for late registrants.
