Wherever you go

Wherever you go

The last time you will have read anything from me would have been midway through my Canadian adventures. The rest of the time went amazingly and I was given plenty opportunities to see God work in incredible ways..

  • A crowd of many witnesses

As Christians, we love it when we are able to bring somebody to God for the first time and watch their transformation. After all, being saved is the starting point of any Christians walk with God.

  • Riding the wave in the Storm: Learning to protect your mental and physical health when stuck at home

Ah and here we are again, just about a year later, finding ourselves once again in a situation that has now become all too familiar.

  • Who am I?

Our identity defines who we are but it depends on interests.

  • Challenging consumerism culture

In a world saturated with inequity, whereby society encourages us to look out for ourselves, greed rears its ugly head. Our culture consistently compels us to consume more.

  • Flourishing in a Dry and Weary Land

As I’ve been meditating and thinking on what to write this month, I felt compelled to expand on my previous article (which can be found here). The primary driver of this was my own life over the past month, which can be summarised quite well by Dallas Williard:

  • Nice doesn’t mean good: Challenge in the church

We’re too comfortable. That’s why we stagnate.

  • Using Sport For The Glory of God

Fireworks explode, music rings out, a huge torch is lit and thousands of athletes and hundreds of flags flood the stadium heralding the start of another Olympic games – games which in their modern form have been going since 1896.

  • On hope—it’s everywhere

You might say that now is a better time than any to pursue hope, to find hope, to desperately reach your hand out and grab hold of hope. But once we overcome this current season, you might be disappointed to find that life in all its ordinariness also needs hope.

  • Living on a prayer

Prayer. It’s our hotline to heaven, our time with our Creator, and a one of the most vital parts of our lives as Christians.

  • Heart Treasure

In the story of Jacob and Esau in Genesis chapter 25, verses 27-34, we learn about where our treasure lies.

  • The first Nurse

In my earliest memories, you were someone who cared for and fixed broken people.
